Securitize partners with the Security Token Attorneys (STA) to lower legal costs of STOs

October 8, 2018

Securitize is pleased to announce a partnership with the Security Token Attorneys (STA) to offer its clients a comprehensive legal solution for Security Token Offerings. By integrating the legal document preparation and token issuance processes, this partnership will provide issuers of tokenized funds, asset-backed tokens, and equity tokens a streamlined solution that lowers the legal expense associated with issuance while expediting the token launch process.

Securitize is a turnkey, SaaS solution for the tokenization of securities issued by funds, companies, and other entities in a compliant way. Securitize manages the investment process from investor login and accreditation, to capital received, as well as the issuance and management of the security tokens throughout the lifetime of the asset. "Legal advice is one of the most fundamental building blocks for any security token offering,” says Carlos Domingo, Co-Founder and CEO of Securitize. “We are excited about this collaboration with STA, which will educate and drive standardization with our issuers worldwide, as well as reduce processual friction and cost."

Security Token Attorneys is a boutique NYC-based law firm representing a broad range of domestic and international clients including issuers of security tokens, blockchain and technology start-ups, fintech firms, broker-dealers, crowdfunding portals and private and public funds, among others.
